Water Contact

Join us for a daylong "immersion" in the magical world of water-based Contact Improvisation! Whether you are brand new to Contact or you've been exploring it for years you are most welcome and wanted here!

This an intentional day of guided aquatic exploration in the realm of water-based CI. We will deepen trust, explore consent, playfulness, and experience nourishing relaxation. There will be some helpful tips and instruction in the morning section. In the afternoon we start with a nurturing playshop then open up to a jam. We will conclude the gathering with a vegan/vegetarian potluck meal.

What to bring:

– A bathing suit or alternate aquatic clothing that is comfortable and non-restrictive in the water

– A towel

– Flip flops and a robe

– A water bottle – yes your body can get dehydrated in the pool, hydration is important for a relaxed body.

– Some warm, cozy clothes for our shared meal time
