a meditation weekend
Whether you meditate regularly, have never meditated before but always been curious about it, or want something to help you get you back into your practice, this weekend is for you. Our feature facilitator is Patricia Wolff of the Monterey Bay Zen Center!
Join us for 3 days and 2 nights at Skyview, a very special piece of land in the Santa Cruz mountains. There are breathtaking views and redwood fairy circles. A pond and treehouse platforms. Any number of special spots to sit and drop in to the power of the present moment.

This weekend includes simple, organic, vegetarian meals (vegan/gf options) which are provided with love and care to nourish your body. As for sleeping, there are both spaces to pitch a tent or car/van camp. There will also be a large heated group tent for some of the gatherings and activities that will also be available for anyone to roll out their sleeping bag. And yes there's a hot tub, an outdoor hot shower, and two composting toilets.
We are overjoyed to have Patricia Wolff returning this year as our featured facilitator. Patricia started her Zen meditation practice in 1987. She met Sobun Katherine Thanas-Roshi at Tassajara in 1990 and subsequently started sitting with the MBZC. In 1995, she received jukai and in 2010 lay entrustment from Katherine. She received her certificate of Zen Ministry in October of 2012 after completing the 3 year S.P.0.T. Sangha Leadership Training Program. In addition to her role on the Teaching Council, she leads Mountains and Rivers, a biweekly Carmel Valley sitting group and teaches classes and workshops, exploring mind-body practices which cultivate wisdom and compassion. Patricia is the mother of 2 grown children and blends her skills as a homeopathic/chiropractic physician and psychotherapist in her Carmel Valley office.
