Join us for a super fun "Taco Bar Potluck" to be followed by an amazing slide show of pics from our community's recent trip to Mexico and Mar de Jade in Chacala, Nayarit. I'll also give a short presentation about the planned community project and your opportunity to be part of something truly special.

What if every January we all went to Mar de Jade as a group to restore, replenish, and revitalize our souls? Basically to relax, have fun, be in a warm and beautiful place together. Dancing, making art, singing, playing music, eating amazing food, and all the stuff that creates a little bit of paradise here on Earth. And...

What if the next week we gave back by helping out and volunteering at the local school and the organic farm project nearby?

There's so much more to it. And many other enticing layers. But that's the basic gist of it. Does that stir your soul? Does that make your insides light up and tingle a bit? And just take a look at some of the pics below!

Mar de Jade is an absolutely phenomenal yoga and wellness center on the Pacific side of Mexico in th little village of Chacala. Simply put it is paradisiacal. In addition to the relaxation, beauty, and joy we experienced there were also opportunities to learn, grow, and give back the the land and the local population.

What I want to communicate here with you right now is this...

We found something special.

It's a place and project started by one woman, Laura Del Valle, back in the 1980's. The origin story is incredibly inspiring and fascinating. It came ultimately from a lot of hard work and deep devotion to a vision. It's something that now requires many hardworking and devoted people.

What's going on at Mar de Jade and in the surrounding village is so unique and special that I can't possibly describe it here adequately. So...

I am hosting a gathering in Santa Cruz for us to get together as a community and discuss the opportunities and possibilities that are now here in front of us. It's going to be a "taco bar" potluck after dance Saturday, March 28th at the Palomar. You don't need to come to dance beforehand.

We'll have a slide show of Jim Pancoast's phenomenal photos and some of the other recent retreat participants will be there too if you want to ask them any questions. I will give a short presentation on the school, the farm, and some of the things we just might be able to co-create there. Here's the specifics:

Next year's Mexico retreat is Jan 2-9. We learned so much on our first trip there and I am confident that anyone who feels called to come can make this a reality. I've got some ideas, some plans, and some strategies to share with you!
