Come join us for a special evening of Contact Improvisation by candlelight with ambient live music. There will be a delicate, delicious warm up followed by 80 minutes of jam time that alternates between silence and live music. Blindfolds will be available throughout the jam

This whole evening is intended to create a space of deep listening through all the senses. To enhance the enjoyment of presence and conscious touch. To revel in the liquidity of our bodies and the sublime nature of our shared embodiment.

What: Candlelight Contact w/ Live Music

When: Thu 7/02 from 7-9pm

Where: German Cultural Center at 230 Plymouth St.

Cost: $15-$25 sliding scale (cash or venmo accepted)

The soft light of the candles is soothing and ethereal creating a magical atmosphere in which to move and connect. Altering our dance environment in this way emphasizes and heightens other senses.  Blindfolds will be available and are completely optional.

** Note: if you've never done contact before you MUST arrive at 7pm promptly for the opening circle!

No prior experience necessary. Please wear something comfortable to move in (no jeans, belt buckles, big jewelry, etc.) and bring a water bottle. You can bring your own blindfold or we'll provide one if ya like.
