FAQ '21 Fall Equinox Campout

What about masks and vaccines?

As an all outdoors event, this event is offered in compliance with provisions for outdoor group exercise and outdoor recreation. Neither masks or vaccinations are required for these activities. Both are optional and at your own discretion.

I"m not feeling well, should I come anyway?

No, absolutely not.. Stay at home and rest. We will see you at the next campout when you are well.

Can I bring my kids?

All ages welcome with parent(s) or legal guardian(s). 6 and under are free.

Can I take pictures?

Photography/video by professional staff only.

 

Can I bring my dog, cat, goat, ferret, other non-human animal?

No, please leave ALL pets at home. Excluding bona fide service animals (must bring documentation.)


What about substances?

This is a drug and alcohol-free event.

Can I set up a camp stove?

Yes, just use common sense and precaution to prevent fire.

Is there a fridge we can  use?

No, so bring a cooler/ice chest. There is ice for sale on property or at the store off site (15 min drive).

Are there bears?

Used to be, but not anymore sadly.

Is there a restaurant there?

Yes, open 12pm-7pm on Friday, 9am to 8pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Will there be a food vendor there?

Yes, selling healthy delicious meals, beverages, and snacks right from our own camp area. Better prices and better food than the restaurant, too!

Will I be able to use my cell phone?

Yes, there is cell phone reception at the camp.


Is there wifi?

Yes.

Is there work trade available?

All work trade positions are filled.

Are there scholarships available?

All scholarships are full.

 

Can I teach a class or DJ?

All teaching and DJing slots are filled.

Can I set up my massage table?

Yes and if charging you give 10% of what you make to our BIPOC scholarship fund.

 

Can I camp/sleep in my car or van?

Absolutely.

 

Can I bring my RV or trailer?

Yes, there are some spots....maybe not totally flat though...and no hook-ups.

 

Are there bathrooms?

There are two bathroom areas with flush toilets and sinks and showers with hot water.

 

Will any of the dancing be on dance floors or will it be on the ground?

We have a special outdoor dance floor made of high grade vinyl topped by 1" puzzle mats. We’ve used it at the last two campouts to everyone's joy and satisfaction.

 

Are the dances amplified music or silent disco?

Full sound system, subs and all!! A few silent discos will be held too.

Are there quiet hours or quiet zones at night?

Quiet hours begin at 10pm in all areas away from the dance floor and fire pit.

 

Are there shady spots for my tent?

There are plentiful areas of sun, shade, or a mixture of the two.

Is there good drinking water there?

Water at Lupin is from city source. Plus Lupin is asking people to please bring their own drinking water if possible to conserve their supply during this drought.

Is there a pool and/or hot tub?

Yes, both.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Lupin is a clothing optional site. We will have our own private camp and dance area that is not open to Lupin residents or other guests. In general, people are usually clothed or partially clothed most of the time except at the pool area where everyone is pretty much naked. Spontaneous nude dancing has occurred under the moonlight on occasion.
