About the event

SOULARUS CAMPOUT SERIES Invites you to join us for the Fall Equinox Campout, the third campout in our series of four seasonal campouts on every equinox and solstice. See future dates at bottom.

At each campout, we feature a topic not often acknowledged (or explored with enough nuance) in mainstream society. In this edition of our ongoing campout series, we will be exploring sensuality and sexuality as it informs our dance, our relationship to our bodies, and our connection to the natural world. We will have a fishbowl conversation for the community to witness and participate in as well as a few workshops focusing on this topic. As always you are fully at choice about whether you participate in any or these and to what degree.

We hope you will join us for 5 days and 4 nights of connection, expression, and movement at Skview, our new property in the beautiful Santa Cruz mountains! Find yourself dancing beneath the trees or atop a stunning ridge with gorgeous views. Enjoy morning and evening dances then frolicking in the pond or wandering into the forest. Organic, vegetarian MEALS INCLUDED! Art classes, song circles, music jams, movement playshops, healing arts, and other activities will be available to elevate your mind, body, and soul. Skyview has hiking trails and plenty of room for camping with a mix of sun and shade. In addition to the pond for swimming there are hot tubs and showers.

*** NOTE: This Fall we can only accommodate 50 participants! For this first campout at the new property we want to keep the impact on the land low as we learn about what works best and what's needed in our new space. The last three campouts have had over 120 campers each time so get your ticket for this Fall soon before it sells out.

Cancellations due to illness at the last minute will receive credit for a future campout only. If for any reason we cancel the event then you will get a full refund minus any service charges imposed by our ticketing platform.

/// Getting there can be challenging for some. The route is paved most of the way but the last mile is steep and narrow in some places. Any vehicle can make it if you drive very slowly. And of course if you have a four-wheel or all-wheel drive bring that.

/// The scholarship process is closed and all have been awarded to those who identify as BIPOC and would not otherwise attend the campout without it. This is part of our commitment to increase racial/ethnic diversity and inclusivity.

Set your intention to be present and devoted to the experience. You are of course free to choose how you spend your time balancing rest with participation, group time with solo time.

/// This campout is a recreational drug and alcohol free space. All participants commit to not being under the influence at any time while on property, not having such substances in posession, nor bringing them to the campout in any way. If you need an exception to this agreement for a genuine health concern you may email us through this website at least 24 hours prior to arriving at camp to discuss possibilities.

/// All are welcome and all are at choice. Each individual takes 100% responsibility for their own health and safety.
